We all know that awful moment when our Iphone 6 becomes damaged that sinking feeling you get when you see it bounce off the floor, you can't help but think as it rebounds surely it was not designed to withstand that kind of abuse.
If you are one of the lucky ones and you have not had to deal with this situation . . . wow amazing! Teach me your ways but for the rest of us normal folk shock horror! The last thing you needed right now was this happening, so where do you turn?
After a quick Google search there seems to be a lot of places to get an IPhone 6 repair, great right? No not really, once you start phoning around you find out once place will take four days, another place is asking for a horrific amount of cash for the repair of your IPhone this can go on for hours before you find the repair shop your comfortable with.
Time is not the only factor you should consider when trying to get your mobile phone repaired there are a lot of different questions you should be asking to make sure you get the best service for you.
So I have created this list of things to look out for when trying to find a good repairer.
This list is not set in stone and it's not a law you should follow it's just a guide of things to consider.
- Distance
This should not really be a factor because a decent repairer is worth traveling for. I am not talking London but locally you should consider traveling up to 5 miles if it's worth it.
- Length of service
Find out how long the shop has been trading for? Although this does not determine the quality of the repairer it may give an indication. If they have been trading for 5 years or more it's safe to say they are doing something right. Some repair shops come and go the ones that go within the first year of trading tend to offer a slightly lower service hence why they end up closing.
- Customer service
When you spoke to the repair shop did you feel they were helpful with the question you were asking? If somebody is willing to take the time to help you over the phone chances are they will take the same approach to repairing your phone , putting in time and effort.
- Price
Get a few prices it 's not like buying a phone where most of the time it 's roughly the same price there is no standard at the moment so prices will differ massively.
- Warranty
Any repair shop worth using will offer at least a three month warranty on parts. Always ask about their warranty policy.
This is not an absolute list but it 's enough to gage the quality of the repair shop , your mobile phone and gadgets mean a lot to you so take the time to research your repair shop carefully.
